Introducing:

Tri-State Ensembles

Tri-State Ensembles is an organization formed to provide concentrated specialized
training among middle school and high school students. There are colleges and
universities that concentrate on providing excellent music education for students that have
finished school and are ready to become professionals. How exciting would it be to provide
a "University of Music" education for the grade school level?

Tri-State Ensembles is designed to offer specialized training in all areas of music
beginning in 2010 with The Tri-State Trumpet Ensembles.

Instructor: Bryan Crisp, Professor of Trumpet
Wittenberg University

This Ensemble is the pioneer group of
Tri-State Ensembles. Beginning in January
2010, this group will be comprised of highly
qualified and motivated young musicians.
Acceptance by audition only. Students will
participate in one of two ensembles.
Students will perform 2 concerts from
January-May. Rehearsals will be 2 Saturdays
per month.

Benefits of Participating

Students get to perform and rehearse with
musicians of similar ability level. Students
will get to meet and make friends from
other parts of the tri-state area. Many
schools do not have smaller chamber
ensembles in which the students can
participate. This gives the student a more
concentrated education on their
instrument of choice and a real life
experience of just a few hours of rehearsal
before a concert.
